Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi may be off cable TV, but not for long.

In "Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip," a new series for the FYI network, the former MTV boardwalk regular will be seen flipping a Jersey Shore home with her husband, Jionni LaValle. According to a press release about the show, the house-flipping endeavor is a new business for Polizzi and LaValle.

In the time since Polizzi's MTV spinoff with fellow "Jersey Shore" alumna Jenni "JWoww" Farley was canceled last year — the last season of "Snooki & JWoww" ended in February — she's appeared on a web series called "Moms with Attitude" alongside Farley for Awestruck, a digital content network.

"Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip," a one-hour series being produced by Entertainment One, is currently in production and will premiere with eight episodes in early 2016.

FYI is owned by A&E Networks. The cable network's current slate of programming includes the series "Tiny House World," which focuses on mini-dream homes, "Tiny House Hunting" and "Married at First Sight: The First Year" (the participants get married to strangers as part of a "social experiment.")

"Millennials have grown up with Nicole, and we're excited to now partner with her and Jionni as they start their first business flipping homes together," said Gena McCarthy, FYI's senior vice president of programming and development, in a statement, citing Polizzi's "crafty and creative ideas" and LaValle's "background as a contractor and builder."

"We couldn't think of a more perfect place to start our business together," Polizzi, 27, who serves as an executive producer of the show alongside LaValle, said in a statement. "Jionni has always wanted to flip houses, and with my love for interior design and do-it-yourself crafts, this project is a dream come true."

Replying to a naysayer on Twitter ("She is not even from the Jersey Shore and all she did was give us a bad name"), Polizzi said that the "meaning of the new show is to restore the shore and the damage that has happened from Sandy."

In 2012, Polizzi and her fellow "Jersey Shore" cast members hosted an MTV telethon for Hurricane Sandy relief called "Restore the Shore" in the wake of the storm.

Polizzi and LaValle — who met while Polizzi was filming "Jersey Shore" in Seaside Heights and have two children, Lorenzo and Giovanna — own a home in Florham Park. The family previously lived in LaValle's parents' house in East Hanover.
